Gregg Daly

Deacon

Gregg believes there are no accidents. His first visit to Good Shepherd in 2018 was on a whim. He and his sister decided to check out the Church where their brother Terry was already a member. And Gregg has been here every week since. Gregg quickly began volunteering as our parish photographer, capturing all the special church community moments. When the pandemic reached us, Gregg was part of the team helping to keep our church alive. Gregg attended in person every week to ensure that the Mass and clergy’s message was streamed on our YouTube channel for the parish to attend virtually. As Good Shepherd moved back toward in-person Mass, Gregg continued to livestream the homily. He became part of the Parish Council (our pastor’s advisory committee) and eventually was appointed Council President. Gregg was happy to help in any way he could over the years, but couldn’t shake the feeling he was meant to do something bigger. With strong encouragement from his brother, Deacon Terry, Gregg began to realize that becoming a spiritual leader was his calling. He took his years of Catholic school education, years of experience within the spiritual life of our church and combined it with the philosophies of being a reformed Catholic. With the Spiritual and Liturgical guidance of our pastor Father Drew, Gregg was ordained our newest Deacon. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, Gregg knows Good Shepherd is his spiritual home and he looks forward to helping others have a home at Good Shepherd as well. He and his wife Debbie have been together for over 40 years. They enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
